    To a frying pan add olive oil and over a medium to high heat, sear your diced beef shin until browned and season with salt and pepper.

    Once browned add the beef to your slow cooker.
  • 3
    Add your chopped onion and tins of chopped tomatoes. Once empty fill one of the tins half way full of water and swirl round to get the remaining tomato from the tin, then pour into the other tin and do the same. After this, add the water to your slow cooker.

    Add the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker and set to low and let cook for 8 hours. If able stir a few times throughout.

    Once finished, serve up with long grain rice and a dollop of sour cream on top.
