Just Jess Food’s Spring Onion and Specially Selected Pork Sausage Rolls

    Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

    In a bowl, mix together the pork mince, finely chopped fresh chives, tomato purée, garlic powder and some salt and pepper. Mix well and knead together with your hands.

    Get an oven tray ready with some parchment paper and roll out your pastry onto this.

    Lengthways, 10cm from the bottom, mould your sausage meat all the way across
  • 5
    Carefully fold the pastry over the meat on the smallest side, then meet with the longer side and press the back of a fork all the way across.

    Cut the long roll into equal sausage rolls, around 12, and place evenly across the oven tray.

    Whisk one egg in a bowl and gently egg wash each one with a brush.
  • 8
    Sprinkle over the sesame seeds and bake for 22 mins or until golden.
