Cooking on the BBQ

    Soak 8 wooden skewers in water to avoid burning on the grill.
  • 2
    Mix the steak, onions and peppers in a bowl with rapeseed oil, garlic, smoked paprika and lemon juice.

    Season with salt and pepper, marinate for 30 minutes.

    Thread a cube of meat onto each skewer, then onion and then red pepper. Repeat to fill the skewer. Repeat to make 8 skewers.

    Drizzle the chickpeas and kale with oil, season with salt and pepper then roast in 180˚c oven for 6 minutes until crisp.

    Cook the broccoli in boiling salted water for 2 minutes then remove and place in cold water.

    Mix all the salad ingredients in a bowl and drizzle with rapeseed oil.

    Place each skewer on a hot BBQ for 8 minutes, turning halfway.

    Remove and cover with foil to rest for 10-15 minutes before serving with the salad.
