We offer six easy-to follow lesson plans for educators to use to help young people learn more about the production of red meat in Scotland, how to cook with red meat and why it should be part of a healthy balanced diet, and careers to be explored in the red meat sector.
Lessons including a learning overview, PowerPoints and tools to help evaluate learning.
Our content covers all stages of the Scottish curriculum, with brand new resources being added all the time!

Ambassador Visits
We have a variety of learning sessions on offer, covering topics such as ‘Farm to Fork’, ‘Nutrition’ and ‘Sustainability’ all delivered by our network of Make it Scotch ambassadors.
Our classroom delivery is engaging and interactive to help young people learn more about the Scottish red meat sector and how red meat can contribute towards good health and wellbeing.
Our learning sessions are all linked to the Scottish curriculum, developed with clear learning objectives, and can be tailored to suit all stages. The sessions teach about the nutrition behind the meat we eat, and the part it plays in a healthy, balanced diet.

Secondary School Teachers!
Apply for a chance for your school to receive up to £180 to spend on Scotch Beef UK GI, Scotch Lamb UK GI and Prime Scottish Pork from your local Scotch Butchers Club member.
Access specially created resources featuring delicious recipes including Scotch Beef Burritos, Scotch Lamb Cheesy Shepherd’s Pie Loaded Potatoes & Prime Scottish Pork Katsu.
